- 15 Sorry, once
again for the gap between updates but we've been busy. After four
successful years at Lore Inc., Jeffry Northrop, our resident Web site
design and development expert has decided to move on and take a position
with Portsmouth, NH-based EyeOn Interactive.
While we are planning on
replacing him, we are also planning on developing a network of designers
and developers to be able to provide a broader range of services and
styles.
On the Custom application
development side, we have successfully designed, developed and
implemented a new Job management and time tracking system at Beaupre
& Co Public Relations (Portsmouth, NH). The application was
developed using Visual FoxPro 6.0. It also makes intensive use of Excel
and Word for data reporting and analysis purposes.
While I spent the month of
July in France visiting family and friends, I also took the opportunity
to reengineer the Insurance Claim Audit System designed for one of
Lore's long standing clients Nurse Audit Consultants Inc., a insurance
Claim Audit company located in Rye, NH. The original system was
implemented in 1996 using FoxPro 2.6. The redesigned version now uses
Visual FoxPro 6.0. The new system was implemented in August 1999.
